GrappleStats ("we," "our," or "us") operates the GrappleStats mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored as a secure hash) to authenticate you.
User Content
We collect videos you upload for match analysis, match data you enter including player names, positions, scores and times, and analysis results generated from your matches.
Usage Data
We collect data about how you interact with the app including match history, performance statistics, and graphs generated from your data.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the GrappleStats service
- Analyze match videos using AI to identify positions and calculate statistics
- Display your match history and performance data
- Process any in-app purchases
- Communicate with you about your account
Data Storage
Your data including uploaded videos and match information is stored securely on servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service. This includes our cloud hosting provider, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud (Qwen), a third-party AI service we use to analyze match videos and generate scoring statistics — the core function of the app. Only video content is shared with Alibaba Cloud for this purpose, and only when you upload a video for analysis. You can control this in Settings → AI Video Analysis. Alibaba Cloud's handling of this data is governed by their privacy policy, available at https://qwen.ai/privacypolicy.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data including uploaded videos and match information will be deleted from our servers.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your match data

Children's Privacy
GrappleStats is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
